How old are they? How long have you had them? Are they still in good shape or have any of them been frayed by rodents chewing on them.
Be proactive and call someone who knows what they are doing to check it out. How often do you need your vehicle checked for mechanical problems? How often should you have a licensed electrician come and look at your electrical system?
How much is that little “surge” going to cost you if everything doesn’t get replaced immediately? How many of those old extension cords are actually fire hazards?
